Ask the steak.
Steaky lives in the corner of your screen. He stays quiet until you tap him. Then he looks at what you're doing and answers on a slip of butcher paper.

A day with Steaky
No window to switch to.
Most assistants live in a window of their own. You stop what you're doing, go over there, paste things in and explain what you were looking at.
Steaky is already where you're working. Tap him and he can take one look at your screen, so you don't have to describe it. Press a shortcut and he reads the box you're typing in, so you don't have to paste it.

He stays at the edge.
Go on, ask.
What is Steaky?
A small assistant who lives at the edge of your screen. Tap him to ask about whatever you're doing, or press a shortcut and he reads over what you just wrote. He answers on a slip of butcher paper.
What does he cost?
There's no price yet. In this early version you bring your own Anthropic API key, so you pay Anthropic for what you use and nothing to Steaky.
Is he watching my screen?
No. He takes one screenshot at the moment you ask a question, and only while "Look at my screen" is ticked. The rest of the time he sees nothing.
Where does what he sees go?
From your computer straight to Claude, the AI made by Anthropic, along with your question. In this version Steaky has no server of his own, and the screenshot is never saved on your computer.
Can he read my passwords?
No. He never reads a password box. For a review he reads the text box you're in, or only the part you've selected.
Will he interrupt me?
Never. No tips, no pop-ups, no nudges. He stays quiet until you tap him or press a shortcut.
Windows or Mac? And when?
Windows first, where he sits in the bottom-right corner. The Mac version, where he sits on the notch, comes after. There's no date yet: join the waitlist and you'll get an email the day he's ready.
Put me down for one.
Steaky is an early version. Windows comes first, and for now you bring your own Anthropic API key.
